Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about starting your relationship with Spectrum LifePath.
No. Spectrum LifePath Foundation recognizes self-identification and the profound barriers that many face in securing costly formal adult assessments. Our community peer circles, educational resources, and social spaces welcome anyone who identifies along the autistic or neurodivergent spectrum. Certain grant-subsidized state vocational programs may require documentation, but our foundational doors are wide open.
Our intakes are designed without clinical pressure. You set the rules: you can choose between virtual or in-person sessions, keep your camera off, type via chat, take unlimited sensory breaks, bring a support person or stim tool, and choose meeting rooms with zero fluorescent flicker. We focus on your lived goals, strengths, and autonomous life roadmap.
We offer structured corporate neurodiversity workshops led by autistic professionals. Our curriculum covers sensory workplace design, restructuring interview questions to eliminate bias, establishing predictable direct management communication, and ongoing job coaching at zero extra cost to the employer.
Yes. Every volunteer completes our 6-hour "Affirming Spectrum Accompaniment" module. The training teaches the neurodiversity paradigm, non-verbal communication, managing sensory overload gently, and respecting executive function variability before pairing mentors with participants.
Yes! Spectrum LifePath Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 47-8910243). All monetary donations, employer matching gifts, and in-kind assistive tech donations receive formal tax receipts within 24 hours of processing.
